About Me

I am a currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Boston Children's, Harvard Med, and The Broad Insitute working in human medical genetics in the lab of Vijay Sankaran.

I have my B.S.E. from Case Western Reserve in Biomedical Engineering with a focus in Tissue Engineering, M.S. in Biology from Case Western Reserve, and a Ph.D. in Cell, Stem Cell, and Developmental Biology from The University of Colorado School of Medicine.

Recently I have been trying to understand the processes that underlie tissue evolution within the hematopoietic system during physiological human aging.

These days, I spend my spare time running, losing chess games, and hanging out with that lady on the right.

FERMI

FERMI (Fast Extremely Rare Mutation Identification) is a set of tools designed for ultra rare variant detection within deep sequencing of UMI-tagged, amplicon captured genomic DNA.
